Hello fellow mountain bikers,
Trail Maintenance Sunday, March 20th, 2022 @ 9am till 2pm.
We will provide shuttle service from the OTB tent located in front of the trailhead. It’s important to be hydrated so please bring your own water. We recommend that you bring gloves, a hat, bug spray and sunblock.
We have good news!
- The land managers are letting volunteers in the park without having to pay the entrance fee. If you want to take advantage of this offer, contact us at oletatrailblazers@gmail.com. The deadline to submit your name is unknown at the moment. As soon as I know the deadline, I’ll post it here.
- The land managers have granted us access to the Manatee Pavilion. After we are done with maintenance, We will set up the BBQ for all to use. BBQ starts at 2pm. We will not provide food or drinks so bring your own.
If you can’t make it early for this event and have time after 2pm, don’t hesitate to join us at the pavilion. We would love to meet you.
Group ride – not part of the event stated above.
Some of us will be riding the trails Saturday morning, March 19th. The plan is to survey the trails to determine what needs to be done. If you want to join us, look for us at the trailhead at 9am. All are welcome to join. This ride doesn’t qualify for free entrance as stated above.
2022 memberships are now on sale. Thanks to the land managers, membership includes 12 FREE park entries, so basically this donation pays for itself. The membership includes a card that will be mailed out to you.
All the proceeds go directly into the trail fund which is used for maintaining and improving the Oleta River MTB Trails.
